Technical advice

A spruce shed is undoubtedly the natural and warm element that enhances your garden. However, a construction made of raw wood offers little resistance to attack by fungi and insects. This wood has not received fungicide or water-repellent treatment. Remember to protect each side of the logs before assembly and then apply a stain or paint every 3 to 5 years to give it protection and preserve its natural appearance.

CONTAINERS-INBOX recommends anchoring your garden shed to a chamfered concrete foundation, under which you have previously placed a plastic film such as polythene to stop moisture from entering the ground. The joists supplied with the shed are autoclave-treated to reduce contact with moisture.
